Contraindications to Massage

All new clients must fill out a health history intake form. Please arrive 15 minutes early if you are a new client to fill this out. There are some contraindications that may exclude you from massage or will require a note from your Dr for treatment. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call before your appointment and we will be happy to address these issues with you.

Your comfort level

If at any point you would like to adjust the pressure, temperature, lighting, music, etc please speak up so we can provide the best experience possible.

Conversation during your massage

Engaging the mind in conversation during your massage can take away from the bodies ability to let go and fully relax. Some clients feel more comfortable talking however we will allow you to lead and avoid initiating conversation so that you can get the most out of your massage.

Draping practices

Prior to your session you will be asked to undress to your comfort level and lie under the sheets provided. We will only expose the area we are working on. If at any point you feel uncomfortable please speak up so we can ensure you feel safe and respected.

Sick Policy

If you have any symptoms of colds/flu such as coughing, sneezing, runny nose, fever, etc. please reschedule your appointment as soon as possible. As your therapist comes in direct contact with your skin colds/flus are easily transmitted to your therapist and exposes future clients. We appreciate your consideration in helping us keep our clients healthy.
