In 2000 Sarah moved from North Idaho to the Big Island of Hawaii studying early childhood education at University of the Nations Kona, HI. It was in Hawaii her love for the healing arts and spirit of aloha developed.
She traveled overseas to the Philippines, Fiji, Singapore and finally to Hong Kong China where she taught at an international Montessori school with children from over 20 different nationalities. In her travels Sarah sought out bodywork treatments to find relaxation and relief from the fast paced city life in Hong Kong. It was there that Sarah realized how powerful and healing massage therapy can be. Upon her return to the states Sarah decided to pursue a career in massage therapy and graduated in 2007 from the American Institute of Clinical Massage and became Nationally Certified and licensed in Idaho. She worked in Chiropractic offices doing therapeutic, deep tissue and sports massage. Later she gained experience at a local natural childbirth center doing pre and post natal massage learning various techniques to assist women during their pregnancies. Sarah studied La Stone therapy in Oregon and then went on to study Lomi Lomi an ancient Hawaiian form of body work. She worked at a local spa providing Hot Stone, Deep Tissue, Swedish, and Lomi Lomi massage for several years before deciding to open her own studio in 2019. Sarah believes that massage therapy is not only beneficial to healing the body but the mind and spirit as well. She brings over 15 years of experience and continues to study and learn new techniques each year.
